1. Key in your e-mail address to receive our newsletter and notifications of upcoming Ag events for Nevada and Placer County residents.

2. Meet with your county Natural Resource and Conservation Service and Resource Conservation District, for aerial photos and soil maps of your specific property.

3.  Contact Sierra College for upcoming Agricultural classes especially the Ag 118 "Ranch Development and Management" class given at both campuses, Nevada County (530) 274-5302 and Rocklin (916) 781-0430.  The class includes: site evaluation, irrigation system selection, pond construction and management, soils evaluation, what to grow, erosion protection, and wildlife enhancement.
